 Introducing Lambda Tau National Homeschool Honor Society, an esteemed opportunity exclusively for homeschool students, particularly for black, brown, and underserved families in South Carolina. 

As a proud initiative of Legacy Builders Homeschool Associates, we aim to foster leadership, intellectual growth, and academic excellence. Lambda Tau serves as a vital advocate for homeschooling, bridging the gap between homeschooling and the wider community. 

Established in 2022 as a chartered chapter in Columbia, South Carolina, Lambda Tau invites applications from students who meet the academic criteria. 

Induction takes place at the annual Lambda Tau Banquet, a celebration of scholarly achievements. Join us on this prestigious journey of recognition and reward for your academic successes. 

Membership in Lambda Tau National Homeschool Honor Society is a privilege that recognizes the outstanding achievements of homeschool scholars. As a participant, you will be immersed in a community that values leadership, service, and intellectual growth. We encourage the exchange of ideas and ideals, fostering a climate of scholarship and academic excellence.

Lambda Tau acts as a bridge between homeschooling and the wider world, serving as a liaison to the general public, colleges/universities, and the media.

To be eligible for Lambda Tau, homeschooled students who meet the academic requirements can apply starting from the end of the sixth grade. 

High school seniors must submit their applications no later than October of their senior year. 

The formal induction ceremony takes place at our prestigious Lambda Tau Banquet, held annually each spring.
